POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Police Department will be taking part in a mock DWI at Potsdam High School Wednesday, May 23.
Students will start the morning learning about more about DWI and distracted driving. Trooper Mark McDonnell, with assistance of Michele James of St. Lawrence County Stop DWI, will present a 30-minute program to students.
And then, at about 8:15 a.m., juniors and seniors will witness a mock DWI.
Taking part are officers of the Potsdam Police Department, Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad, Potsdam Fire Department and Garner Funeral Home.
