Deep low pressure over the Great Lakes region will continue to provide St. Lawrence County with unsettled weather through the end of the week, and into the first half of the weekend, according to the National Weather service.
Widespread rain early this morning will become more terrain focused heading into this afternoon, while transitioning to snow above 1500 feet, NWS says. Terrain focused precipitation will continue Friday into Saturday as well, followed by a brief period of drier weather on Sunday, the service says.
Rain will turn to drizzle between 7 a.m. and noon, then showers are likely after noon, NWS says. Temps are expected to fall to 39 by 5 p.m. with winds of 9 to 17 mph and gusts as high as 26 mph. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
Rain showers are likely before 4 a.m. overnight, then rain and snow showers are likely, the service says. Winds will be 13 to 16 mph with gusts of 26 mph.
Rain and snow showers are likely Friday morning, then becoming all rain after 8 a.m. as temps warm up to around 41. No accumulation is expected.
