MASSENA – A 17-year-old Massena girl who had been reported missing April 3 is back, according to state police.
Hanna E. Tatro had been reported missing April 3, and on Thursday, state police in Massena issued an alert, asking for reports of her whereabouts.
At about 4 p.m. Friday, troopers received a call saying she was safe, and before long she turned herself in.
She was returned to foster care, state police said.
She was believed to be in the Massena or Norfolk area and has ties to the Watertown area, troopers said.
St. Lawrence County Family Court reported her as a missing person and possible runaway on April 3, troopers said.
