Those sick of winter may need to hold out a bit longer -- the National Weather Service is saying St. Lawrence County could see snow Friday night.
During the day on Friday, Massena, Canton and Potsdam have a 30 percent chance of rain with temperatures in the mid-50s. Countywide there is a 50 to 60 percent chance of rain or snow in the evening hours, with temperatures hovering just above freezing.
It should give way to a partly sunny Saturday with temperatures in the low 50s. But those in the southern reaches of the county, particularly Potsdam and Star Lake, are looking at a 30 percent chance of more snow.
It is forecast to be partly cloudy with temperatures in the high 20s or low 30s on Saturday night.
Sunday is predicted to be sunny with temperatures in the high 50s. Canton, Ogdensburg and Massena are looking at a 30 percent chance of rain Sunday night.
