The top five boys’ names for 2011 in New York were Michael, Jacob, Jayden, Matthew and Joseph.
The top five names for girls in the state in 2011 were Sophia, Isabella, Olivia, Emma and Ava.
Across the country, the top names were Sophia and Jacob.
