Price Chopper stores in Potsdam Massena, Canton and Ogdensburg are voluntarily recalling 48 oz. packages of Central Market Classics Caramel Caribou Ice Cream due to the possible presence of metal shavings.
Most of the customers who purchased the item have already been contacted through Price Chopper’s SoundBite notification program, which uses purchase data and consumer phone numbers on file with AdvantEdge, the company’s loyalty card, the press release from Price Chopper said.

Customers with the affected product, UPC # 41735 07230, should return it to their local Price Chopper for a full refund, the release said.
