POTSDAM -- A memorial account has been set up for the children of a former Potsdam Central School music teacher who died July 1.
The money raised would go to a fund for Cathy's Frick's children.
The account is called the Cathy Frick Memorial Fund and it is set up at First Niagara Bank. It was created by Frick's sister Linda Clark and her neighbor Pam Tishberg.
Frick was employed as a music teacher at Lawrence Avenue Elementary School in Potsdam. She was also superintendent of the Potsdam United Methodist Church Sunday School program for many years, and was a member of the Potsdam Community Band, and conducted orchestra for the “Secret Garden” performances.
To make a donation to the account, visit First Niagara or send a check made out to the Cathy Frick Memorial Fund to her parents' house; John Bruce 8055 U.S. 11 Potsdam, NY 13676.
