MASSENA -- The Massena-based St. Lawrence Thunder claimed the NYSAHA Tier 2 Northern Zone Sectional title after going 5-0 in tournament play.
The team downed the Jefferson Jaguars, Potsdam Sandstoners, Plattsburgh Roadrunners, Saratoga Blue Knights and host team Bethlehem Eagles.
They advance as the top seed to the NYSAHA Tier 2 state championship tournament in Rochester March 13 to 15.
