MASSENA -- Village police on Tuesday charged a Massena woman serving time in the Franklin County Jail as an accomplice to a December robbery.
Rachel E. Riley, 24, of 2224 State Hwy. 420 is charged with second-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree conspiracy, all felonies.
Riley, along with state parolee Terry L. McGregor, 26, of Massena forcibly stole a wallet from Ashley Palmer at 351 East Orvis St. on Dec. 5 around 6 p.m. It contained $2,500 cash and credit cards.
McGregor was also charged with robbery, grand larceny and conspiracy late last month.
Riley was arraigned by Massena Justice Gerald Sharlow and ordered held at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
