MASSENA – A Massena woman is in an online contest for a chance to model for Maurice's women's clothing and win $7,500 for the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce.

Olivera Stankovic, 37, has entered the clothing store chain's Main Street Model Search 2012 to become one of a dozen "real girls in all sizes to represent Maurice's in upcoming fall, holiday and spring campaigns. To vote for Stankovic and learn more about the contest, click here.

She could receive a photo shoot in one of three iconic destinations in the U.S. and national exposure at Maurices locations, www.maurices.com, mailers and social media; a $1,500 Maurices gift card; and $7,500 for a charitable makeover to be awarded directly to a community or charitable organization in her hometown.

Stankovic chose the Massena chamber. She explains in her online bio, "This non-profit organization which I am a member of does so much for the community such as educating, donating, entertaining, informing people about cultural events, concerts, promotions, scholarships and charitable fundraising," she said.

People may vote online through March 19 to help narrow the field to 100 contestants. Those selected will then submit videos telling why they should be the next Main Street Model

The judging panel will then pick the top 20 contestants, who will be brought to Minneapolis, Minn., in mid-April for a casting call before celebrity judges.
