MASSENA -- A Massena woman jailed without bail on accusations of selling prescription drugs, according to state police.
Troopers say they arrested 45-year-old Tina L. Savage of Massena on Tuesday. The charges stem from a St. Lawrence County grand jury indictment that accused her of selling fentanyl strips, troopers said.
The charges follow a lengthy investigation by the New York State Police Troop B Narcotics Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Massena Police Department, troopers said.
Savage was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, both class B felonies.
She was arraigned in St. Lawrence County Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, without bail, troopers said.
