MASSENA -- The woman seriously injured in a Dec. 19 house fire has died.
MaryAnn S. Donnelly, 68, passed away from her injuries Dec. 26 at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, Burlington, Vt.
Firefighters responded to the fire at Donnelly’s home on State Route 420 in the early morning hours of Dec. 19. Donnelly was taken to the hospital for treatment for burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire was reportedly caused by smoking materials, according to WWNY-tv.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Reid and companion Larry Gray of Ogdensburg; Cindy Murray and companion Gregory Shields, of Massena; Pamela and husband Larry Monacelli; Penny Donnelly and companion Charles Eels of Massena; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A service will be held Monday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Massena.
