MASSENA -- A Massena woman is facing a felony for allegedly shoplifting from Walmart after she had been barred from the store from stealing from there last year.

Leah B. Musante, 21, of 49 Churchill Ave. is charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and two bench warrants.

Musante allegedly went to Walmart on July 27 and stole two garbage cans, men’s underwear, some other clothes and other miscellaneous items valued at $140.54, according to court documents.

She had been barred from the store since May 26, 2014 due to a prior shoplifting incident, which lead to the burglary charge, court documents state.

Musante was picked up Sept. 2 at 441 South Main St. without incident, the documents state.

She was arraigned in Louisville Town Court by Justice Virginia Gettman and released under probationary supervision.
