Winning first place in the tournament was "Team District 13" (left to right) Patrick Deshaies, Cortney Deshaies, Molly Deshaies, Kelly Deshaies, Jim Deshaies, Lori Deshaies and Herbie Deshaies. The Deshaies family generously donated their winnings to the Massena Visionaries.
MASSENA -- The Massena Visionaries hosted a trivia tournament at the Moose Lodge to help underwrite some of the costs associated with the projects the volunteer group performed in the Massena community.
Among those projects were a downtown clean-up, village parks clean-up, street hockey tournament for youth and a flower planting with the Massena Valley Garden Club.
The Massena Visionaries have an aggressive schedule of projects planned for 2016 and continue to grow their volunteer base within the community under the motto "Vision, Action, Change."
