MASSENA -- The village is applying for a grant to pay for an electric vehicle charging station in the municipal parking lot, Mayor Tim Currier said.
He said the grant, which should be submitted by the end of the year, will cover their fees for two years.
Residents using it to charge a car will have to pay a fee to the village, which will be decided in the future.
Currier said that will help the village by creating a new revenue stream.
