MASSENA -- Village police will soon be looking for a new sergeant.
The Village Board of Trustees accepted on Tuesday Sgt. Ken LaBarge’s resignation.
It will be effective Feb. 28.
He has been on the force for 25 years.
“He’ll be sorely missed,” Mayor Tim Currier said, who in the fall retired as Massena’s police chief.
