MASSENA -- The village board took a number of actions at their Tuesday meeting.

All actions passed unanimously:

• Voted to continue an agreement with Robert Zwanenburg to continue snow and dirt dumping on his Center Street parcel

• Approved an updated agreement with the Massena Fire Company. Trustee Matt Lebire said there were some minor changes from the old agreement, including “language cleanup, clarification on a couple issues and changed (spending) amounts to keep up with cost of training.”

• Designated Key Bank, NBT Bank, Community Bank and Columbus Bank and Trust as banks of deposit for 2017.

• Approved a Community Center tenant lease with United Aluminum Workers Local 465

• Tabled a resolution to accept Massena Fire Dept. Foreman Ken McGowan’s resignation.
