MASSENA — The village board on Tuesday voted to accept the treasurer’s retirement and named her replacement.
Village Treasurer Julie Sharlow will retire on March 31. She has been a municipal employee for 27 years, with just under six as treasurer, Mayor Tim Currier said.
The board voted unanimously to name Kevin Felt as her replacement, effective April 1. He has been working with her to train for the new post. He is a former St. Lawrence County treasurer.
