MASSENA -- The Village Board of Trustees will recognize the state champion Massena Lady Raiders hockey team at tonight’s meeting.
The team clinched their first-ever state crown over the Kenmore East Bulldogs 3-0 in Buffalo.
They finished the regular season with a 10-8 record before going undefeated in post-season play.
The team includes Bailey Dillabough, KC Herne, Shaunessy LaClair, Kyrsten Stone, Bailey Thomas, Molly O’Connell, Abbey Paduano, Iakohehiio Cook, Ellen Green, Maddy Mailhot, Mia Jermano, Brittany Streeter, Kahsenniiostha Jacobs, Mikenna Merry, Abbie Paquin, Emily Wilmshurst, Maddi Dillabough, Ellexia Lazore, Rachel Hurlbut, Amber Thomas, Logan Deshaies, Raechel Davis and Camryn Peets.
Coaches are Jennifer Gray and Greg Paquin.
