MASSENA — The Town Council will pay up to $270 for a web designer to redo Massena International Airport’s out-of-date website.
“It has inaccurate information on it, it has dated information on it, it has the previous airline’s logo plastered across it,” Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said.
Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino said the site, at http://www.flymassena.com/en, offers non-existence services such as limousines and meals, and has a banner for Cape Air, who hasn’t been the town’s airline since April.
The site was created by Joe Moore of Design Delineations 10 or 12 years ago, Gray said.
Under the deal passed Wednesday, Moore will correct and update the site and give the town control over its content.
“He also hosts the site, he has the domain … we pay him $250 or $275 a year to host the site, which is typical,” Gray said.
