MASSENA -- The Town Council on Wednesday replaced two vacancies on town boards.
They voted to appoint Ray Fenton to the Board of Assessment Review for a five-year term.
He replaces David Bence, who had held the seat since Apr. 10, 1996. His term ended Sept. 30.
Bonnie Weitz was named to the Massena Museum Board.
She takes over for Pauline Boyce, who leaves an unexpired term that is up Dec. 31, 2017.
Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said he thinks they’re good picks.
“It’s nice to get some representation from residents that live outside the village, and they both do,” he said.
