MASSENA -- The Town Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Town Hall’s room 30.
An email from Town Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy said discussion items include:
• a discussion of Boutique Air canceling their Albany and Baltimore flights and offering a Boston route.
• a discussion of selling surplus land on county Route 40 to Blockchain Industries, the cryptocurrency mining firm that approached the board at their last meeting and asked to buy land and be granted tax incentives
• an update on a water line replacement project
• discussion of potential building codes
• an anticipated executive session with the Massena Memorial Hospital board’s executive committee to discuss the ongoing asset transfer negotiations
