MASSENA -- The Town Council is considering a new promotional brochure for Massena.
Councilman Samuel Carbone showed the other board members a pamphlet for the Town of Newcomb made by a company called Trampoline.
It included a list of a variety of activities offered in the town.
“This is for a town of 400 people,” Carbone said. “Their logging and mining industry is shut down, now they’re going into the tourism industry.”
There was no cost discussed.
“There’s no proposal and we don’t have prices,” Carbone said.
Trampoline also designed a logo for Newcomb, which Town Supervisor Joseph Gray noted cost $10,000.
Gray suggested asking company officials to discuss the idea with the board at a future meeting.
