STOCKHOLM – A Massena teen was arrested Thursday after police discovered him allegedly shining a spotlight on a deer from a motor vehicle.

Dalton J. Serguson, 18, of Massena was charged with prohibited light/weapon in motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana after troopers allegedly saw him spotlighting a deer.

He was stopped along Cty. Rt. 47 at 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

Serguson was issued appearance tickets.
