MASSENA -- Town Supervisor Joseph Gray is reminding property taxpayers in St. Lawrence County that Thursday, Jan. 31 is the final day to pay town and county taxes without penalty.
Gray says that the window at the Town of Massena Tax Collector’s Office closes at 4 p.m. but tax payments can be deposited after 4 p.m. in the drop box in front of Town Hall at 60 Main St.
All payments in the drop box when it is opened at 8 a.m. Friday morning will be recorded without penalty, Gray said.
