MASSENA – The Massena Minor Hockey Squirt A team clinched four tournament championships during the just-concluded 2012-2013 season.

The team won the Canton Fall Classic in November, and the Brockville Memorial Tournament in Ontario in early December by beating the South Grenville Atoms 3 to 2. Massena won a thrilling double-overtime semi-finals game against the Jefferson Jaguars 2 to 1 to secure their place in the finals. The win will be the first win engraved on Brockville's new Ladouceur Cup Trophy, a replica of the Stanley Cup.

The Squirts also clinched first place in the Second Annual Shiver on the River Tournament in Clayton.

And they took top honors in the South Grenville Atom Rep B tournament during a hard fought battle with the Kemptville Panthers.

The Massena Minor Hockey Squirt A Team was coached by Todd Tyo, assisted by Rob Chilton and Brian LaVack.
