MASSENA -- The village will seek a grant to re-examine and possibly improve a 10-year-old waterfront development plan.
The Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted 4-0 to allow Mayor Tim Currier to try for the funds to contract out the job.
In 2006, the town and village of Massena, along with Louisville wrote up a joint Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan.
Currier said since it’s 10 years old, he wants to hire someone to “revise, extract pieces we can use … and implement something.”
He said the original plan was held up because of a “disagreement with the state over some issues.”
