MASSENA – The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce and the Winter Carnival Committee are seeking individuals to help with the Massena Dash, the dog sled races being held Feb. 5 and 6 at the New York Power Authority Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
NYPA employees have been working all year to make sure the trails are prepared for the races.
However, the chamber is expecting more teams will participate in 2011, and more volunteers are needed to help with trail management (guiding teams, helping to make sure they are on the right trail), and dog sled team handling at start and finish lines.
Those interested in helping should contact the Massena chamber office at 769-3525 with a name, number and date and time availability.
