MASSENA -- The village received just over 1 percent more in sales tax payments from the county than last year, Village Treasurer Julie Sharlow told the Board of Trustees on Tuesday.
Sharlow said their fourth quarter sales tax take was $447,125, up $11,206 or 2.6 percent.
For the fiscal year, the village took in $1,750,052, up $31,664 from last year, or 1.84 percent, she said.
The year’s proceeds came in $105,602 over their budgeted amount of $1,644,450, Sharlow said.
