AKWESASNE -- Massena residents have a $10,000 Hawaiian vacation and $11,000 cash recently at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino.
A Massena man, who wished to remain anonymous, won the vacation drawing on Oct. 6.
And Connie Curtis, whom the casino said won $10,000 in September, hit on a Double Diamond slot machine earlier this month, winning $11,000 more.
“It almost didn’t happen," Curtis said.
"When I first went to the machine there was a man playing it, so I played another game close by and immediately jumped on the machine when he left. It wasn’t long before I hit the jackpot!” she said.
The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino is on Route 37 in Hogansburg.
