CANTON — A Massena resident was charged with possession of dangerous contraband Wednesday while he was an inmate at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Howard Donnelly, 34, was charged with first-degree possession of dangerous contraband, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was allegedly in possession of a fentanyl patch while incarcerated.
Donnelly was arraigned in Canton court and held without bail, deputies said.
He is to re-appear in court on a later date.
