On Thursday around 2:02 a.m., Massena village police responded to a report of a disturbance at 2 Willow St., Apt. 105.

Police say they arrived on scene and discovered three males inside the apartment with “serious head injuries.”

All three were taken to Massena Memorial Hospital and then transported to a hospital in Syracuse, police said.

Police say they arrested a suspect at the scene, Justin Scovil, 33, of 15 Mill St., South Colton.

He is charged with first-degree robbery and three counts of first-degree assault, all felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

He was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Massena court by judge Joe Brown and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail due to two prior felony convictions, police said.
