MASSENA -- Village police arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with an unsolved 2012 robbery on Thursday.
Cory A. Courson of 24 Roosevelt Street is charged with third-degree robbery.
On Dec. 28, 2012 at about 11:30 p.m. he allegedly pulled Jacob Losey from the driver's seat of a pickup truck parked at Bowlmor Lanes on East Orvis Street, punched him, threw him to the ground and stole a wallet with $30 cash and credit cards, a cell phone, and a hat.
Losey told police in a statement he believed the attack was motivated because of a friendship with Courson’s wife.
Courson was arraigned in Massena Village Court and released under supervision of the probation department pending a future court appearance.
He could face up to seven years in prison, if convicted as charged.
