MASSENA -- No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing into a report of shots fired on Center Street last night, village police said.
“Nothing was found … I can’t really say much, it’s an ongoing investigation,” Village Police Sgt. Andy Richards said, who added that police are still conducting interviews.
A report came in at 9:46 p.m. that shots had been fired at 235 Center Street.
While interviewing potential witnesses, police made an arrest unconnected to the reported shooting. They found that Casey D. McMillan, 25, of 52 Maple Street had outstanding warrants from St. Lawrence County Court and Massena Village Court.
Unconnected to the incident, village police arrested Bobbie J. Murray, 20, of 235 Center Street on an outstanding warrant for criminal mischief. He was charged with the crime at 5:48 a.m. after being turned over by Ogdensburg City Police.
