MASSENA -- Police continue to investigate last week’s suspicious death of a Massena man.
Massena Police Chief Adam Love said investigators are going back and speaking again with people they interviewed in the days following the death of Demar Buckner, 50.
“We’re still investigating the incident. We’re re-interviewing some of the people we spoke to in the first couple days,” Love said.
Love said those being re-interviewed include the person who’s presence brought police to the residence. He said someone reported to police that a person was in front of the residence falling down around the time Buckner died.
“We’re interviewing anybody that was at or near the scene,” the chief said.
He said the case continues to move forward, but didn’t want to say much else since the investigation is ongoing.
“We are making progress in this case, through our interviews,” Love said.
