MASSENA -- Massena Permanent Fire Fighters passed out 48 coats to the boys and girls of the Massena Head Start Program in December.
There were many little smiling faces when the little ones received their own personalized jackets from Operation Warm.
With the communities help, they were not only able to reach their $2,000 goal, but double the goal that they had set.
This allowed them to purchase 72 more coats to distribute throughout the Massena Central School System and for those that need them in the event of a fire.
