Residents of Massena, Ogdensburg and Rensselaer Falls received accolades at the North Country Acting Society’s recent awards show.
The event honored local talent who had been a part of films shot in the area over the past year.
Massena-based GMS Productions won six out of the nine awards. The group includes Elijah Winfrey, Tino Faygo and Brandon Wright. The group received five awards last year.

• Best supporting actor:
