MASSENA -- The Massena Moose Lodge 1110 recently donated $675 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Mike Currier’s name.
The money was the proceeds of a February dart tournament the club held in Currier’s memory.
“The Moose Lodge held the first annual fundraiser on Feb 7th and with the support of local businesses and their generous donations, we had a great turn out,” Moose member Chris Phillips wrote in an email.
The tournament saw two 30-person teams square off. The winners were Dustin Currier and Travis MacDonald.
