MASSENA -- Two men were jailed after stealing guns and money and threatening two adults and a 10-month old child with guns about a week before Christmas, according to state police.
Troopers said that on or about the evening of Dec. 18, 2014, two men entered a North Racquette River Road residence through the front door wearing ski masks and brandishing guns.
The suspects reportedly threatened a 27-year old female, a 25-year old male and an infant.
The men took their masks off during the robbery and the victims later identified them as Kyle E. Kain, 21, Hannawa Falls and Nicholas P. Adams, 23, Potsdam.
Kain and Adams allegedly stole a Mossberg shotgun, a Remington shotgun and $1,200 from the residence. The suspects then fled on foot.
Kain was arrested at St. Lawrence County Jail and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery: displaying a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm and endangering the welfare of a child. He was remanded back to jail on $20,000 bail, officers said.
Adams was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery: displaying a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm and endangering the welfare of a child. He was sent to the St. Lawrence County jail on $100,000 bail, troopers said.
Troopers said the victims filed the report Feb. 5.
