MASSENA -- In the event of an evacuation at Massena Memorial Hospital, the Massena High School gymnasium will house its patients until they can go back, according to a resolution the Board of Education ratified Thursday night.
The hospital would also be able to request the use of handicap buses if there weren't enough ambulances and the use of the district's kitchen facilities if MMH were to be evacuated for more than 12 hours, according to the deal. The hospital would reimburse the district for any costs.
