MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital has recognized one of its registered nurses for her positive attitude on the job and making the workplace fun.
Aimee Raymonda recently received the Hershey Kiss Award.
“Aimee has a consistent concern for her patients. She looks at the complete picture and addresses patients’ problems and concerns from admission thru discharge," a news release from MMH says. “She actively involves herself with the patient and physician to make sure the patient is progressing toward their discharge goals. She always addressed the concerns of the patient and family members to accommodate any needs that must be addressed.”
Raymonda started working as an MMH registered nurse in the medical, surgical and pediatric units in 2003. In 2008, she transitioned to the intensive care unit. She also works in the hematology and oncology clinics, when needed, according to MMH.
