MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital Auxiliary have expressed appreciation to the people of the Massena community and surrounding area for supporting their annual fall/winter fundraiser Christmas Cash.

The money raised will be used to purchase medical equipment at the hospital. Dale Dalton of Massena was the big winner of the Christmas Cash of $1,000.

Pictured in the Auxiliary Gift Shop receiving his prize is Dalton with Jean DesLisle and Cheryl Novak, Chairperson of the Annual Fundraiser. There were three other winners of the $500 each; they are Abby Wanzer, Serena Hamel and Brad Mott.

“The MMH Auxiliary Annual Fundraising committee would like to thank all the Auxiliary members and volunteers who spent many hours selling tickets. And to all the hospital employees who always support our efforts to raise money,” said Novak.

Additionally we would like to thank Julie Talbot at Mountain Mart and Ryan McConnell at SeaComm Federal Credit Union for allowing us to sell tickets at their locations and always being willing to help our Massena community.

Members of the MMH Auxiliary Annual Fundraising committee are Cheryl Novak, Chairperson, Kathy Adams, Carol Morgan, Kay Romeo, Connie MacLennan, Julie Paquin, Lee LeRosa and Holly Deruchia.
