MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital employees recently wore red to recognize the “Go Red for Women and Heart Disease” awareness campaign.
Employees who participated were given a heart-healthy apple in the hospital cafeteria, along with a 10 percent discount at the hospital gift shop.
The American Heart Association started the “Go Red for Women” campaign 10 years ago to recognize and bring awareness that heart disease, the number one killer of women, MMH said.
