MASSENA -- A 77-year-old Massena man lost control of his vehicle this morning in downtown Massena and drove it through a wall at the Quality Inn.
The vehicle went through the stop sign at Danforth Place and West Orvis Street, crossed West Orvis, and ended up crashing through the wall of a ground floor room at the hotel, acording to Massena Police Chief Adam Love.
The driver, Paul Bronchetti of North Main Street, told police he wasn't sure if the accelerator got stuck or if he went for the brake pedal but hit the gas instead.
Love said no one was hurt, and that the investigation continues.
