Investigators have charged 22-year-old Travis McGregor of Liberty Avenue, Massena with first-degree robbery, felony, two counts of petit larceny and a single count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors.
He was arraigned by Massena Justice Eric Gustafson and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond, police said.
In a news release seeking public assistance in finding the suspect, police had said McGregor used a knife to rob the Main Street store and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
