MASSENA -- A Massena man was jailed on Saturday after he allegedly resisted arrest when police attempted to charge him with disorderly conduct.
Roger J. Deshane, 43, of 161 Water St. was charged on both counts at 2:05 a.m.
Court documents state that he tried to start a fight with David Bercume at 235 Center St. Apt. 5.
Police ended up involved, and when they tried to arrest him, he pulled away and officers used “joint manipulation” to subdue him, court documents state.
Deshane was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald Sharlow and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $500 bail.
