Sawyer E. White, 21, of 41 Somerset Ave. is charged with three counts of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse, all felonies. He is also charged with four misdemeanor counts of child endangerment, police said.
He was charged following investigation of an Aug. 21 report of the rape, police said.
Village police say they were assisted in the investigation by the federal Department of Homeland Security.
White was arraigned in Massena court by judge Eric Gustafson and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond, police said.
