MASSENA -- Village police say a Massena man is jailed on a burglary count after allegedly breaking into a house and stealing a television.
Rodney D. Wood, 23, of 10 Bishop Ave. is charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, according to village police.
He was charged at 12:04 a.m. Aug. 3.
Police say he broke into a Center Street residence and committed the theft, and the resident was not home at the time.
Wood was arraigned in Massena court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond, police said.
