LOUISVILLE – A Massena man faces was sent to jail on $15,000 bail after he allegedly failed to pay for a hotel room, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said.
Robert E. Kizziah, 71, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, theft of services and issuing a bad check.
Deputies said Kizziah rented a room at Lakeview Motel and Apartments for about six weeks and did not provide payment for the service, which exceeded $1,000.
Deputies said Kizziah later attempted to pay the bill with a check that did not clear.
He was arraigned in Massena Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional facility on $15,000 cash bail.
Massena Village Police assisted deputies in the investigation.
