Robert C. Douglas II, of 14 East Ave. is charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and trespass, a misdemeanor.
Court documents state that officers spotted him in a backyard at 30 Beach St. Police asked Douglas why he was there and he gave conflicting stories about his reason for being at the property. He initially said he was there to see “Scott,” then later said he was there to see “Mike,” court documents state.
He was later found with three grams of cocaine in his pocket, according to court documents.
Douglas was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald Sharlow and released under supervision of the county Probation Department pending a future appearance.
